Ties typically use one piece of fabric that is wrapped and then sewn to fit around a tie core. C. Chauchat has developed a proprietary method whereby another piece of fabric is additionally enveloped around the original tie. In being able to use two layers of material, this technique allows C. Chauchat to use the tie as a canvas for innovation and creativity. No longer limited to a flat tie, the C. Chauchat tie uses unique combinations of fabric, color, and texture to create a sense of dimension found nowhere else.
